How Our Commission Process Works.
Commission prices starts from £15 per new Design, + the kit price for our like-4-like product that is similar to your tailored design + tracked uk postage.
Your order will be made to the agreement of the initial design - upon our completion, pictures will be sent as confirmation of works. - Through this site you'll be present with the final product to view and add to basket options to complete your checkout.
Pricing & Turnaround Times.
- Our working schedule, Monday to Thursday 9.00am. - 15.30pm.
- Commissioned work has a longer deadline process due to it's project delegation and build lead times, turn around time is normally between 2-4 weeks. Unless previously stated.
- All orders are normally processed within a 3-5 days after a payment clears.
- Processed invoice orders will be marked as shipped once passed on for delivery.

About cheekytek
Our Story
My inspiration is one thats grown from my family. My grandfather who at 18yr served as an army engineer, and was a huge railway enthusiast that guided me with his skills of engineering and passion with a workshop chocked with lathes, bench drills etc. Turning scrap railway metal into outstanding machined parts for whatever the fitted. I Guess this was a pass down from his father, my Great Grandad as shown top right taking a train for a ride at the leisure park he worked in his spare time, even though he was a real train driver for the GWR during the early steam days with many royal trains pulled under his belt. With that focus I look at my own father and his military background at 18yrs. He become a horologist 'watch maker' by trade and as pictured bottom right. And then I look and myself and I now understand why I am who I am with model making and entertainment and engineering rooted in my blood.
Art & Design Technology
My Specialist field is in Art & Design Technology. At 19 exited and fresh out from Reading Tech college of art and design with a City & Guilds in hand, moving onto running a huge Heidelberg printing press machine and undertaking CAD, Darkroom and design work on my journey.
Professional Background
From the early age of 4yr, I was that entertainer person and from my family history I now know see my journey. with 40+ yrs in Entertainment, DJ Presenter Actor, performer, Theatre, Television ITV, Thames News, Ch5, Ch4, Radio 210FM, Radio Berkshire, to magazine & local newspaper accreditation articles.

What materials do you use?
A: We use a mixture of sustainable wood and premium basswood for fine craft wood models and 2mm ply board for box work.
Can I order a custom model?
A: Yes absolutely, we cater for personal project builds and we welcome your dream design.

A: We model mainly in OO Gauge and have now taken on TT 1:120 scale with our customer requests during to the growing hobby.
